Peter Karathe Githuru also known as Kirathe is an ICT and data analytics professional based in Nairobi, Kenya. The writer has a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science (Statistics Option) from the Technical University of Mombasa, and combines hands-on technical support with a sharp eye for data: Python, R, Stata, SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI are his daily tools, alongside network administration, cybersecurity awareness, and IT infrastructure management. He is the writer behind SpecBytesKE, where he covers AI, cybersecurity, and practical technology for Kenya and beyond, and works in ICT, helping clients match the right tech to the right problem.
The writer's experience spans both the field and the screen. His every role has reinforced the same principle: practical tech should solve real problems, not just look good on paper.
When he is not writing or fixing something, Peter is usually learning something new. He believes Africa's tech future will be built by people who roll up their sleeves, and he writes to make that future a little easier to understand.
